May 25th:
This week we have been preparing for our upcoming visit to Haiti. WWR is excited for the culmination and graduation of nearly 100 students from the Health and Hygiene Club on Saturday May 28th. Haitian students from LYCEE, EFACAP, and St. Lucienne have attended this weekly class for over 6th months. Covering topics ranging from cholera, to the water cycle, to basic English conversational skills, these students have participated in a program that equips them with the knowledge to support WWR WASH in Schools installations. As these students are more aware of applicable health and hygiene topics the school community is more able to successful adopt WWR clean water and sanitation projects as there own. We are excited for this weekend, and thanks to Albert Juin, WWR Youth Coordinator who gives up his Saturday morning to teach and continues to be a role a model for his students.
